Frequently Asked Questions
Due to the explosive growth of the Internet, good domain names available for new registration are hard to find. Good domain names that are already registered have become valuable assets and they become more valuable every day. As a result of a strong demand for good domain names, a domain aftermarket has developed to provide a means for people to acquire good domain names for their online projects or as an investment.
They are called Premium Domains.
Easy-to-remember names that make sense
If you are like most of us, you already know how important an easy-to-remember website name is. They are simply easy to remember so we remember them. If they are catchy that is even better.
Brand Value
If you find a domain name with good brand value it may be worth buying as an investment even if you do not plan on using it for your own project. Or if it is a domain that someone else could use to compete with you, you may want to buy it to prevent them from doing that.
Premium domain names are like valuable Real Estate
An age old rule in Real Estate is “Location, location, location.” The same rule absolutely applies on the Internet. On the Internet the most valuable location is on or near the first page of search results.
While Google, Bing, and other search engines change their algorithms from time to time, the value of prime domain names keeps rising. Make no mistake about it: As more businesses discover this truth and more businesses come online looking for good domain names, good prime domains are ever-harder to find and, therefore, become more valuable.
Buy Now: “Buy Now” prices are not negotiable. If we have not received a “Buy Now” submission before yours, you will be first in line to purchase that domain name.
Minimum Bid: If you submit a “Minimum Bid” we will reply to you and negotiation will begin. If we meet at the same price, we will proceed with the payment and transaction process.
- Wire Transfer: You will be provided with the necessary wire transfer information. When we receive your payment, we will begin the technical transfer of the domain to you.
- Escrow.com: A widely used secure financial intermediary. Both parties are protected. Your payment to us is not released by Escrow.com until the ownership of the domain name has been transferred to you. The Escrow.com process is outlined below.
- We will initiate the transaction via the email address that you give us.
- You will then receive an email from Escrow.com, which will ask you to sign in to their site to review and agree to the terms.
- Once you accept the terms, you will be asked to make a secured online payment.
- After payment is secured by Escrow.com, ownership of the domain will be transferred to you.
- PayPal.com: With PayPal, you are not required to reveal banking details or credit card numbers to the merchant. Take note however, that while it is a simple and fast way to make a payment, this option is not available for your payments exceeding 2,500 USD.
